Missive received from a bod in finance saying "we dont reimburse more than £55 per night unless there are excrutiating circumstances".
Think he possibly meant extenuating...

Hi, popped in here from a Blue Cat link, drawn by the Cornwall reference. I discovered much of interest and amusement, not to mentioned shared interests as listed in your profile. Loved this entry, why don't I ever find things like that? Well, I did once see an ad for a job in a surf shop citing "good rates of pay and fiendly working atmosphere."
Hi, glad you like it, make yourself at home...my previous best example of 'just plain wrong' was when someone said to me "They want the site to be designed in such a way that it eludes professionalism." Got that published in a Dilbert newsletter...
