Things that bug me: an occasional series...
Sign on door: "Due to circumstances, this office will be permanently closed until further notice."
Surely, if there is to be a future re-opening, then it's not permanent? And if it is permanent, the sign could have stopped there, yes?
(And what were the mysterious circumstances? An unexpected assassination, perhaps?)

I found it at the bottom of a locked filing cabinet, in a dis-used lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the leopard.'

aha! to demolish Arthur Dent's house. I thought it was his voice I could hear saying it, but I was thinking no, the plans for Earth were on another planet somewhere...

It must be a Leopard thing 'cos the funniest description I've heard for being sick is to, "Park a Leopard". Ha, ha, I'm laughing now :)God I need a drink...
We're both right, of course. It was the plans to demolish Arthur's house that were in the local planning office, in the cellar, in the locked filing cabinet...
The plans to demolish Earth were on another planet (in Alpha Centauri).
