Not so much 'Explorer' as 'eaten by cannibals'

Have given in to the incessant prompting of my computer at home, and upgraded to IE7. The new look is quite nifty, now I'm getting used to it, and the tabs thing is handy.

However.

The first time after installing it that I tried to close down the machine, I got the blue screen of death (for the first time ever on this computer). And now IE won't work at all on the computer's other log-in. AND, now the disconnect prompt doesn't work. Normally, you close IE and it says 'would you like to disconnect?' - click yes, job done. Now, however, you click yes, come back an hour later and discover you're still connected. So you click the network icon, and hit disconnect there as well. But that's not the end of it, oh no. It now provides a network icon for what appears to be every window and tab that you have opened. But it won't show them to you all at once. So you have to open each one and disconnect repeatedly for ages before you're finally offline. ARGH.

'm gonna have to get Broadband...

Yes I'm not so sure I'm taken by it. In control panel you can always roll back to the previous version. MIcrosoft are ghastly. Fact.
